Each year, Lost & Found hosts a memorial event and 5K to bring our community together to honor the memory of loved ones who have died. Run & Remember is more than a 5K; it is an opportunity for you to gather as friends, family, and colleagues to honor and remember your person.
This year’s Run & Remember will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m., at Jordan Valley Park in Springfield, Mo.
Following the 5K, at approximately 7:30 p.m., we will gather for a Remembrace Program. This is a brief but memorable time together as friends and family to remember those we’ve lost.

We recommend you bring:
• Card or cash for the ice cream truck
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• A chair or blanket for our Remembrance Program time
Memory Walk
A portion of Run & Remember includes a 1-Mile Memory walk for people of all ages. This is a time for you to talk, walk, share, and remember your special person.
This portion of the race event is not timed and will not include a race bib number/timing chip. Everyone who registers will receive a t-shirt and a custom medal.
ROUTE MAP
5K Walk/Run Timed
Runners and walkers looking for more of a challenge can participate in the full 5K (3.1 miles). This is great for families, teams, and people who want to race.
Everyone registering to run or walk the 5K will receive a t-shirt, race medal, and a numbered/chipped race bib. Race results will be shared online with this registration. Awards will be presented following the 5K.

Memorial Sign
Run & Remember Memorial signs will be on display in the Memorial Garden area. This year, we have over 100 signs. Please take time to reflect on these individuals as part of this event. If you purchased a sign, you are welcome to take this home with you following the Remembrance program.
We are no longer accepting orders for Memorial signs. However, you can make a donation in honor or in memory of someone on the race website.
WHERE DO I PARK?
• Jordan Valley Ice Park will have limited parking and handicap spaces.
• Free event Parking is located at Harry Cooper Supply at 605 N Sherman Pkwy, Springfield, MO 65802.
• You can also use the paid parking garage across the street from the event.
ABOUT RUN & REMEMBER 2025
Lost & Found’s Grief Center’s Annual Run & Remember is open to all ages and individuals in our community. Many people who have participated in grief support groups at Lost and Found are part of this event. It also helps provide support for continued grief therapy here in the Ozarks. FAQs
Early Bird Registration ends May 1 – this is also the cut-off for a guaranteed shirt. We will have some additional shirts available at the event; registering by May 1 will guarantee you a shirt.
You can register until the day of the event, but may not receive a shirt.
The deadline for Memorial Sign purchase is May 5.
Snacks and water for race participants.
There will also be an ice cream truck with items available for purchase. Kids under 12 will receive a free treat.
The Memory Walk is only 1 Mile and the 5K is 3.1 miles.
Individuals signing up for the Memory Walk will not receive a race bib number and will not be entered into race timing results.
Run & Remember 2025 will begin and end at Jordan Valley Park. The race course will continue near downtown Springfield.
Packet Pickup will be Wednesday, May 21, at the Lost & Found Grief Center office at 1555 S. Glenstone from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and also beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.
You can purchase additional shirts for $20. Deadline to order is May 1. Purchase shirts here on Run Sign Up.
Some families or groups enjoy running as a Team. If you would like to participate in the 1-Mile Memory Walk or 5K Run/Walk as a Team, go to Run Sign Up and register for either one. Create or join a team during the registration process.
You can also find the Team tab on Run Sign Up and create the team first.
Teams with 10 or more people can receive a $5 off code for each team member. Email events@lostandfoundozarks.com for the code.
We currently do not have a Virtual option within our registration, but are considering this option.
