Journeys has provided support for caregivers and families whose loved one has faced advanced serious illnesses such as cancer, dementia, Huntington’s disease, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and others.
What Journeys Offers
Support for Families
The Journeys Caregiver Group offers virtual support for individuals navigating an advanced serious illness. We know that sometimes the needs of caregivers get lost in the middle of a loved one’s treatments, appointments, and medical needs. It can be difficult to find others who truly understand the complex challenges caregivers encounter. The Journeys Caregiver Group provides a nonjudgmental place for caregivers to interact, share stories, learn new coping skills, and gain strength from each other. This group meets twice a month for 90 minutes online. The Journeys Caregiver Group is provided at no cost to participants.
Individual Support
If you prefer to receive support not in a group or family setting, we do have other options. Individual consultations for children, teens, or adults are available. This service does have a fee associated.
