Lost & Found Grief Center’s Run & Remember Returns May 21
More than 700 runners and walkers filled Jordan Valley Park with hope last year — and this May, the community will gather again for Run & Remember. Hosted by Lost & Found Grief Center, the annual 5K and 1-Mile Memory Walk returns Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m., for an evening of movement, memory, and connection.

During Run & Remember, individuals, families, and friends can also reflect and remember loved ones in the Memorial Garden, which features signs displaying the names and photos of friends and family members who have died. Following the run and walk, Lost & Found will host a remembrance ceremony in Jordan Valley Park’s amphitheater.
“Run & Remember is a time to celebrate the joy of living while remembering our family members, friends, and colleagues who have died,” said Mark Miller, Lost & Found’s executive director. “It is always moving to see former participants from our grief groups return for Run & Remember. Despite the intense grief they felt when they first attended Lost & Found, they are now walking in hope.”
Runners and walkers can register for the event at RunSignup. The early-bird race fee is $29 through April 30, and all early-bird registrants will receive a T-shirt. The first 600 finishers will receive a commemorative medal. The entry fee increases to $35 on May 1. Registration will remain open through race day; however, shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 male and female racers in each age category.
