When I was four years old, I watched
my father die of a heart attack. One
doesn’t know how slow and monotonous life is when you watch your friends do
things with their fathers and you have to live life without. Ever since I saw my father die, I have taken
an adventurous, accepting view of life.
Life is too short, and it isn’t worth it to waste what you’ve got. I’ve learned that laughter is the best
medicine. So, to whoever is reading
this: when you look at these works of
art, remember to embrace life….and laugh.
It has been a long journey from then
(1995) to now. In some ways, I can’t
believe we made it. I am so proud of my son. As I look back and
trace our journey forward, I think we did all right! God’s grace, a little hope, and a lot of
worry and tears and we made it this far.
The future looks a lot brighter from here. – Jonna
