Choat Family

When I was four years old, I watched my father die of a heart attack. One doesn’t know how slow and monotonous life is when you watch your friends do things with their fathers and you have to live life without. It has been a long journey from then (1995) to now. In some ways, I can’t believe we made it. I am so proud of my son. As I look back and trace our journey forward, I think we did all right! God’s grace, a little hope, and a lot of worry and tears and we made it this far. The future looks a lot brighter from here. – Jonna
